The Republic of Aquitaine is a sovereign, independent micro nation formerly situated in the region of the southwestern third of France. Currently, the Republic of Aquitaine is a government
in exile but with full legal micro nation status as established by its Declaration
of Sovereignty.

As a sovereign nation, the Republic of Aquitaine
claims historical rights to all sites and territories in Aquitaine
which were under the direct control or administration of the Carolingian empire.
Since the modern political realities which make the restoration of such
ancient lands impossible, the active territorial claim
is limited to an amount of land at least equal to that occupied by the Château
de Roquetaillade located in the heart of ancient Aquitaine, 60 contiguous acres.
On this land a world capital for the administration culture will be
founded. The exact site for this governmental is to be determined.

The Republic of Aquitaine renounces the use of
force, rebellion, coercion, or intimidation in the pursuit of our international
status and claims.

On a periodic basis,
titles of Nobility are issued under the
authorization of the Ministry of Immigration and Naturalization in order to
fund ongoing operations of the Republic of Aquitaine. These Noble
titles are certified legal titles that can be added to your name. All
